Hi Art Lovers!
I have lived at the Jersey Shore all my life with my husband Steve and 4 children. I was very fortunate to attended private art classes and studied painting and drawing since the age of 7. I won my first art contests when I was in grade school which gave me the confidence to continue my art journey!
I have been teaching art classes in my private Art studio for over 38 years and have been fortunate to been featured in many articles and magazines. I also published 4 art books, many videos, DVDs and over 600 art design patterns. I have also enjoyed traveling across the United States and Canada teaching for shops and conventions.
Arlene also teaches an online video subscription and ZOOM Art classes on how to paint in acrylics and watercolor.
I enjoy learning and studying all types of art forms and medias, I will always be an art student, I enjoy learning from all artists!
Painting has been such a blessing in my life and I will always be found with a brush in my hand!

I have painted using many techniques including sharp focus still life, land and sea scapes animals and florals in oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings. I especially enjoy the freedom of my "Splash" watercolor and Alla Prima paintings. Its so hard to find a favorite as I love to paint them all!
I have been blessed over the years to paint and teach all over the United States and abroad, Sharing art with my students. Running a full time art studio from my home was a way that I could be home with my growing family as well as teaching and designing from my studio. It has been such a joyous journey. I have written books and articles on various art subjects and also filmed many instruction videos and now I am going to sell all my art that I have created over the years in this wonderful Gallery!
